Course Learning Outcome #6

“Formulate and articulate a stance through and in your writing.”

I was able to achieve this course learning outcome by writing the position paper for my multimodal project, “The True Key to the Conservation of Earth.” A position paper is a paper with  an arguable opinion about a science-related issue or topic. While writing it, I had to consider its genre conventions, which included stance. It took me a while to develop the stance but with constructive criticism from peers and my professor, I was able to.
